happy day! oh, happy day!

I take a rather interesting approach to life. I get it. I'm a little different. Most people don't see the ideal day much like I do. That's ok. I'd say Monday was an ideal day for me. I've started a new Monday routine. Jess and I have been shooting new EBV items until late Sunday afternoon. Sunday evenings we've been scouting out all the fun places to have dinner and drinks in Atlanta. She just recently moved there, so we are trying somewhere new every week. I'll sleepover Sunday night, and then Monday morning I'll get up and start heading back to Birmingham. It's a 2 hour drive, and normally takes me about 8-10 hours to get back. ha. There are so awesome thrift stores in between Atlanta and Birmingham, and I normally stop at every one of them. Quick break for lunch somewhere, and then finish shopping my heart out. One thrift store even has 1/2 off everything on Mondays! Score! I bought myself some super sweet stuff, and tons of new inventory for the shop. I've been working on tagging and organizing all that inventory for several days now...almost done!
Anyway, there are pictures below of all the awesome stuff I scored. Also, there are some really awesome vintage pieces up for auction right now at EBV. Check those out HERE! We're pretty excited. This is the first week with our new plus size model, whom we just adore.

$0, my mommy gave it to me monday night. love me some plants! cool pot too.

$4, thrift store. for my sweet 4 year old, presley!

$10, thrift store. KILLER SKIRT! will be wearing it a lot!

sunday loves.

Well, friends, it's my favorite day of the week. It's also the day I post random pictures of things I love. (Many of this week's pictures were contributed by Jess. Check her blog out here: hippiefroufrou.) Most of today's sunday love is dedicated to the undeniably gorgeous style icon we all love that recently passed away. I'm thinking of giving myself a Farrah haircut...one because I adore it and two because I can't think of a good reason not to. RIP Farrah! Enjoy the pics friends.

behind the scenes.

Somebody named Ivan Allen once said "Atlanta? I think it's the greatest city anywhere I know of." I wouldn't go that far, but I must say it is pretty cool. We're super excited about EBV's new satellite location and thought we should share. A very good friend of mine, and EBV's most famous face, has moved oh-so-far away from EBV HQ here in Birmingham, (not really, it's only 2 hours) so we are now operating out of HOTLANTA a day or two a week. It's super refreshing to get out of town (not that we don't do that all the time anyway, but, whatever...) and enjoy what the big city to our east has to offer. Check out the new place!

sunny days, sweeping the clouds away...

...on my way to where the air is sweet. these days I feel like I'm smiling so hard my face hurts. I just can NOT get enough of the sunshine. I get so inspired in the warm weather. It's nothing for me to round up all my girls and have 12 hour long photoshoots. (what a slave driver, right? don't worry, my ebv sweethearts are very well taken care of ladies!) we've got some big things coming up this season at ebv: the launch of our new shoppable website, lots of new models, a major advertising blitz in several magazines, and tons and tons of great photos (and hopefully some inspiration) for all of you. stay tuned for a big shop update in a few days featuring all the great pictures we've taken over the last couple of days.
