It's been cold for like one day and I'm already missing summer. I'm currently spending my days working with wool and tweed and fur and longsleeves, but all I really want to do is spend lazy days on the river. Or the beach. Or the lake. I really need to move, since I constantly long for sunshine on my face and dream of a year where I wear nothing but sundresses. Who knows what the future holds?
These are all snapshots from our trip to Red River Campground, one of the most magical places I've ever visited. The energy at this place is amazing. Good people everywhere.
Have a beautiful day, friends.
Cheers,
Savannah Marie

weekend in review: red river valley/music festival trip.
hello, hello!
hope you guys all enjoyed a lovely holiday weekend. we sure did! we spent the weekend in northern tennessee at the red river campground. the head jamz music festival was there & the boy & i went to set up my vintage booth. we vended all day & late into the evening friday, saturday, & sunday. we saw some great live music, ate some yummy food (one vendor had the best fish tacos!), & enjoyed the first hint of fall weather (it was 46 degrees saturday night!). i had the chance to catch up with some of my existing customers & make some new ones too. all in all, it was quite the enjoyable weekend in the mountains. the only downside? no cell reception for three solid days! i did feel quite lost with a practically useless iphone in my purse, but at the same time, i think it was good for me to disconnect for a little while & take in my surroundings & enjoy my handsome date, uninterrupted! here are our photos from the adventure.
cheers,
savannah
the drive in was gorgeous. very scenic. we were absolutely deep into scenic territory.
